Automotive Application Selection Quick Reference

Automotive Application Selection Quick Reference

The table below is organized byPart × Material × Failure Modealong three dimensions, for early-stage solution screening, and as a starting point for discussions with the Tiangang technical team.Actual loadings must be confirmed against the customer's formulation, processing conditions and target-life testing.

Note: this table covers the three weather-resistant additive families - light stabilizers, UV absorbers and antioxidants - plus FR-810A polymeric halogen-free flame retardant. Where a partrequires both flame retardancy and weather resistance (battery-pack housings, high-voltage harness jackets and some roof load-bearing parts), start directly from FR-810A rather than adding a flame retardant and conventional HALS separately - the acidic environment created by flame retardants neutralizes conventional alkaline HALS, so weather resistance degrades earlier over time. For the flame-retardancy topic, see ③ Harness, Electrical & Flame Retardancy.
