UV Absorber 326 is a benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber, mainly used to protect plastic materials and coatings from degradation after UV exposure.

Chemical name: 2-(2'-hydroxy-3'-tert-butyl-5'-methylphenyl)-5-chlorobenzotriazole

Application range: UV Absorber 326 is mainly used in polyolefins, cold-cure polyesters and wood varnishes.

Performance advantages: UV Absorber 326 can be widely used in polyolefins (indirect food contact). It has low volatility at high temperatures and strong resistance to thermal degradation, with no significant loss or decomposition during compounding and processing of polyolefins. In polyester resin UV-protection applications, light stabilizer 326 does not react with metal salts to form colored by-products during resin curing.
