Light stabilizer 788 is a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer suitable for both thick and thin products, providing significant light stability to a variety of polymers. Its mechanism of action is the same as that of hindered phenols (scavenging free radicals), and it provides long-term thermal stability to polyolefins. Excellent stability can be achieved at low concentrations. Due to its polymeric structure, light stabilizer 788 has very low volatility (even at high processing temperatures), low extractability, and low migration in polymers. Light stabilizer 788 has no negative effect on the initial coloring of the substrate. Its low-dust, free-flowing form makes it very easy to handle.
