Applications:This product is a new-type hindered amine light stabilizer, used in polyolefin plastics, polyurethane, ABS resin, coatings, adhesives, rubber, etc. It has excellent light-stabilizing effects and offers the advantages of high efficiency and low toxicity.


The synthesis of hindered amine light stabilizer 3853 uses methyl stearate and 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinol as raw materials; under the action of sodium methoxide catalyst and with xylene as solvent, light stabilizer 3853 is obtained by transesterification. Through orthogonal experiments, favorable reaction conditions were obtained: molar ratio n(C9H19NO):n(methyl stearate) = 1.15:1, reaction time 7 h, catalyst dosage 8% of the methyl stearate mass. Under these conditions, the synthesized product meets quality standards, with a yield of 95.6%.
