UV Absorber UV-531 – 2-Hydroxy-4-n-octoxybenzophenone (Benzophenone-12)

UV absorber benzophenone-12, also known as UV-531, is a high-performance anti-aging additive with outstanding efficacy. It absorbs ultraviolet light in the range of 240–340 nm and features light color, non-toxicity, good compatibility, low migration, and ease of processing. It provides maximum protection to polymers, helps minimize discoloration, delays yellowing, and retards physical property loss. UV absorber UV-531 is widely used in PE, PVC, PP, PS, PC, organic glass, and other materials. It also delivers excellent light stabilization for dry phenolic and alkyd varnishes, polyurethanes, acrylics, epoxies, and other air-drying products, as well as automotive refinish paints, powder coatings, polyurethane, rubber goods, etc.
