1. Benzoate esters: Representative products in this category include methyl salicylate and ethyl benzoate. They have good absorption of medium-wave and long-wave UV, but their drawback is strong volatility, which can easily irritate the skin.

2. Anthranilate esters: Representative products include menthyl anthranilate and phenyl anthranilate. They have strong absorption of long-wave UV, along with good light stability and antioxidant properties.

3. Coumarins: Representative products include coumarin and umbelliferone. They have strong absorption of long-wave UV and good light stability and antioxidant properties, but their drawback is deeper color, which can affect light-skinned products.

4. Heterocycles: Representative products include benzotriazole and imidazole. They have good heat and light resistance, can absorb both medium-wave and long-wave UV, and offer good compatibility and safety for the skin.

In addition to the common categories above, some new types of UV absorbers are gradually gaining attention, such as nanomaterials and natural plant extracts. These new UV absorbers have more unique chemical structures and mechanisms, meeting consumers' diverse needs for sun-care products.
