Determination of Polymeric Hindered-Amine Light Stabilizer by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography

Using p-nitrobenzoyl chloride as the acylation reagent, an amide precipitation reaction occurs with the amine-containing polymeric hindered-amine light stabilizer 944 in tetrahydrofuran. By changing the reaction ratio, the reaction ratio of p-nitrobenzoyl chloride to polymeric hindered-amine light stabilizer 944 was determined to be 5:1. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy was used to analyze the reaction precipitate to achieve qualitative analysis of polymeric hindered-amine light stabilizer 944, and high-performance liquid chromatography was used to analyze the supernatant to achieve quantitative analysis. The UV-visible detector detection wavelength was 360 nm, and the recovery rate of the reaction test results reached over 90%.
